About Us
We are the governing body dedicated to the development, promotion, and regulation of pool in Gibraltar. Our association exists to provide a structured, inclusive, and well-governed framework that supports participation, development, and excellence across all levels of the sport.
Our role extends beyond competition. We are committed to establishing clear standards for play, officiating, coaching, and governance, ensuring fairness, integrity, and consistency throughout all our activities. Through structured leagues, tournaments, and development programmes, we aim to provide meaningful opportunities for players of all ages and abilities.
Player development is central to our work. Through our academy, junior pathways, and elite performance programmes, we support the progression of players from grassroots participation to high-performance competition. Alongside this, we invest in education by delivering coaching courses, referee training, and continuous professional development to strengthen the foundations of the sport locally.
We work closely with Gibraltar’s sporting authorities, community organisations, and stakeholders to promote pool as a recognised and respected sport. By increasing visibility, encouraging participation, and aligning with best practice in sports development and governance, we aim to ensure the long-term sustainability and growth of pool in Gibraltar.

Player Development at the Core
Through our Sports Development Programme, we deliver accredited coaching pathways, referee education, structured competitions, and intensive training programmes. These initiatives are supported by academy-level playing conditions, modern learning tools, and guidance on appropriate equipment to enhance performance and enjoyment of the game.
By actively promoting pool within the local community and increasing its visibility across Gibraltar, we aim to provide the sport with the recognition, exposure, and opportunities it deserves. Junior Development Programme
The Junior Development Programme is a cornerstone of our association and reflects our long-term commitment to the future of pool in Gibraltar. We recognise junior players as the next generation of athletes, officials, and ambassadors of the sport.
Our programme is designed to introduce young players to pool in a safe, structured, and supportive environment, with a strong focus on skill development, sportsmanship, discipline, and enjoyment.
